Job Summary:

We are seeking a Proposal Engineer with 4-8 years of experience in EPC, ideally with exposure to Water & Wastewater projects. The position is based in New Mumbai .

Responsibilities:

1. 1.Independently prepare techno-economically viable offers for RO, UF, ETP, STP.
2. 2.Prepare cost estimations for RO, UF, ETP, STP.
3. 3.Independently collect required data from clients/sites.
4. 4.Prepare the Basic Engineering Package including P&ID, plant data, hydraulic diagram, basic layout of proposed plants.
5. 5.Maintain technical and cost data bank.
6. 6.Comfortably travel as required.
7. 7.Prepare technically accurate submissions for end customers/EPC contractors.
8. 8.Understand customer requirements thoroughly.
9. 9.Size processes and prepare offers for WTP/RO/ETP/Recycle/STP/ZLD packages. Maintain a cost data bank from approved vendors.
10. 10.Prepare enquiries for various components, obtain vendor quotes.
11. 11.Communicate scope of work to internal departments, gather cost estimations.
12. 12.Develop detailed Bill of Materials, estimate lowest possible costs with inputs from departments/vendors.
13. 13.Negotiate supplier quotations.
14. 14.Prepare Plant Data and P&ID according to contract requirements.
15. 15.Ensure timely release of documents to projects/engineering departments.

Requirements:

• 1.Knowledge of processes and technologies for Water and Wastewater Treatment.
• 2.Proficiency in unit sizing for Water and Wastewater Treatment.
• 3.Ability to prepare Basic Engineering Packages (P&ID, Hydraulic, unit sizing calculations, etc.).
• 4.Experience in estimation for Water and Wastewater Treatment.
• 5.Familiarity with good engineering practices.
• 6.Experience in preparing offers for WTP/STP and in estimation.
• 7.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• 8.Willingness to independently travel within India for site data collection, customer meetings, and plant audits.
